The cooperative difference

Tipmont’s unique, member-owned structure prioritizes people and community over profit.

Tipmont leadership lives in the communities we serve, which lets us make strategic decisions to benefit our members much faster.

In lieu of sometimes lengthy state regulatory activity required for IOUs, Tipmont responsibly self-regulates in areas of rates and policies.

Tipmont embeds core cooperative principles and values in its decisions, including innovation, impact, passion, public service heart and respect.

Tipmont is a proven partner in regional economic development, with deep and productive ties to leaders and decision-makers.
